Frantzy Pierre

“I don’t capture what you look like, but what you feel”.

Frantzy Pierre is a photographer, podcast host, and community builder based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Thomassin, near Petion‑Ville, Haiti, he has loved photography since childhood and received his first digital camera in 2006, marking the start of his journey behind the lens.

Trained as a civil engineer, Frantzy brings a sharp eye for detail and structure to his creative work. He is also formally trained as a photojournalist, bringing storytelling and a photojournalism style to all his photography, with contributions to newspapers and magazines that highlight real stories with impact.

Frantzy has worked as a gym teacher, volleyball coach, and first division basketball and volleyball player, experiences that shaped his discipline, teamwork, and connection with people.

He is the host of the Life on Pose Podcast and founder of the Life on Pose Photo Competition, celebrating storytelling, photography, and community. Since 2015, Frantzy Pierre Photography has helped families, organizations, and businesses preserve their most important moments.

Currently, Frantzy is working on different projects, including photo-documentaries, exhibi tions, and other creative initiatives that capture authentic stories, daily life, and the resilience of people.
